This is Fox Island where the Kenai Fjords cruise line built a lodge and where they take their cruises for lunch or dinner. You can see from this picture just how huge these mountains are - the lodge looks like a little speck on land - not to say what it makes you feel like - tiny tiny.
They serve a buffet of salmon and prime rib and all the trimmings. Really really good and yes I finally ate salmon for the first time and loved it!! (I also ate halibut for the first time in Seward and love it - go figure!)
Nice big beautiful dining room.
Another one of their boats came in when we were there.
And off we go back to the marina.
