Today, May 30th we took another drive to Canyonlands National Park and stopped by the Whale Rock Trail. One of us decided that they wanted to climb it! What is it with the male species that they feel they need to climb every rock they see! lol Anyway here's our adventure in rock climbing.
As you can see one of us is anxious and ready.
This is looking up to where we will be going and all I'm thinking is crazy!!
And then you look up and see these people that look like ants they are so high.
These rocks are what you follow and are situated so you'll have some idea how to get to the next level and get to the top. I call it a cave man map!

We finally made it.
YES, me too.
And I'm so happy I made the trip up - what a beautiful site once you get up to the top - it's hard to describe and the pictures don't do it justice.
That's our car down there - that tiny little black speck!
And once you get back down and look up it's hard to believe that you really climbed all the way up - but it's one more thing off our "bucket list".
