Denali to Wasilla, Alaska

Okkk, can you see Mount Denali in the background???  Good, we couldn't either!! Maybe on our way back.

This is a little town called Talkeetna. .  I have 3 sisters that would never get out of here in a week.  So many little quaint shops - lots and lots of "stuff" - good shopping!!

This is a place you could go out on float planes.  Talkeetna is also the base for planes that fly up and around Mount Denali.   "Someone" is trying to talk me into getting into one of those itty bitty little planes and fly around Mount Denali then land on an ice glacier!!!  There is one vote for nahh, nadda, never.  Already having nightmares.

Can you guess what this is??  A CAR WASH!!   After all those dusty roads - then the rain - then the mud Woo Hoo.

This is the Knik Arm Lake - this is in the area where Vickey (Will's niece) lives and works.  Is is also the area where a lot of the people that race in the Iditarod live and train their dogs here - their headquarters is here also.

                                                                 Just a really beautiful lake.
